[ 01 / WHAT IT REMOVES ]

Hidden data should not travel by accident.

AI Metadata Cleaner targets the information stored around the pixels—not the visible image itself.

[ 04 / HONEST BOUNDARIES ]

Metadata is not the same as the image.

This tool is built for privacy and file hygiene. It removes embedded information, but it does not make promises about how a third-party platform will classify an image.

It can

  • Remove common embedded metadata
  • Remove GPS coordinates
  • Remove supported AI generation tags
  • Create a fresh image file

It cannot

  • Remove pixel-level invisible watermarks
  • Guarantee an AI detector result
  • Undo an existing platform label
  • Control third-party detection systems

[ 05 / FIELD NOTES ]

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about local processing, image quality and the limits of metadata cleaning.

01

What is an AI metadata cleaner?

It removes hidden file information such as camera details, GPS coordinates, editor history and supported AI generation parameters embedded alongside image pixels.

02

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Processing runs inside your browser. Image bytes are scanned, re-encoded, verified and downloaded without being sent to an application server.

03

Does it remove EXIF and GPS data?

Yes. Standard camera details, timestamps and GPS coordinates are among the primary metadata groups targeted by the cleaner.

04

Can it remove Stable Diffusion parameters?

It can remove prompts, seeds and other generation parameters when they are stored as ordinary metadata in supported image containers such as PNG text chunks.

05

Will cleaning reduce image quality?

Re-encoding introduces a technical change. You can select 85–95% quality for JPEG and WebP; PNG remains transparent, while HEIC and AVIF are exported as JPEG.

06

Can it prevent AI detection?

No guarantee is possible. Metadata removal does not erase pixel-level watermarks or change how a classifier interprets the visible image.
